Etched glass can provide subtle decoration and privacy in doors and windows, or can be used to add a feature, such as a corporate logo, to glass. We do custom surface etching (sand blasting) in our facility, on glass of all types for cabinets, doors, windows, plaques, etc. Etched images can be "positive" or "negative." A positive image has clear glass as the background with the design etched on the glass. Negative images are typically used where more privacy is desired. In this case, most of the background is etched and appears translucent while the design is left clear. We have several grits available for etching. Each gives a slightly different look to the etched glass. A combination of grits can give an interesting decorative look. You can choose an etch design from our idea books, bring us your own sketch, or we can work out a design together.
